A Statement of Our Communion Practice:

     Because we consider communing at this altar a public declaration of what our church teaches, in Christ's name we welcome to commune those:

  • Who acknowledge Jesus Christ as their personal Savior from sin;
     

  • Who can discern the Lord's Body and Blood as truly present, together with the bread and wine as taught by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod;
     

  • Who can examine themselves and repent, as instructed in the Scriptures;
     

  • Who have faith in the words of Jesus, "Given and shed for you for the forgiveness of sins," as embodying the purpose of the Sacrament;
     

  • And who look only to the Lord for His help to change their lives.
