Weekly Update for Grace & Trinity – Friday 11 September 2020

SUNDAY – TRINITY 14

† the Sunday of the Ten Lepers †

Proverbs 4:10-23; Galatians 5:16-24; Luke 17:11-19

Last week, the Good Samaritan did literally everything for the fallen man; this week everything is done for the Samaritan. But what sets the Samaritan apart this time is his thanksgiving. How anyone could fail to give thanks to God for doing everything for us is incredible. And yet, how often do we find ourselves with bitter or angry hearts, jealous and discontent with what the Lord has given us? Join us this Sunday at 8am at Grace and 11am at Trinity as together we give thanks to God for all things!

Bible Study is at 9:30am at Trinity. We’re still in chapter five of the book of Revelation. Here’s another short video by Peter Leithart. Please join us!

For those not yet joining us in personhere is the bulletin for Sunday to follow along with at home. Please remember to give your offering to the Lord for the service of the Church, either by mailing a check or donating through our PayPal account (GraceTrinity). I know this is a difficult financial time for many, so if you need assistance, please let us know! We are so thankful for the continued generosity shown to both congregations during this time. Also, here are the news/notes and the congregation at prayer for Sunday. If you’ve missed any of the services and don’t have FB, please see my YouTube channel.
