1) While Trinity was honored to be asked to host the annual Eighth Day Institute Symposium this weekend, it turns out that, due to a large number of Covid infections within the Eighth Day community, we needed to cancel the live-gathering of the Symposium. In the next week or two there will be robust digital content that addresses the theme of Hope in an Age of Anxiety. 2) The third annual Kansas District Life Conference is right around the corner! The event (Jan 22) begins with check-in at 9 a.m., followed by Matins at 9:30. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Dr. Peter Scaer, professor and chair of the Exegetical Department at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW). Dr. Scaer will be giving two presentations, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
