*Other things…*
· The Rev. President Matthew Harrison has released a statement regarding the Equality Act. The Church is not a partisan entity, yet it is deeply political—that is, of the people and for the people. Our involvement in politics is simply our involvement with one another. If the Church is silent in our treatment and conversation with one another, then we should not be surprised by other voices that lead our culture away from a life shaped by the Word of God. Please read this article and consider how it might inform your conversation with others. blogs.lcms.org/2021/lcms-presidents-statement-on-the-equality-act
· Here’s this week’s lecture on Isaiah 1-39 <ec2-52-26-194-35.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com/x/d?c=11705631&l=f7621522-3229-47b6-9e0c-a844d8fe4c56&r=6dbeaba4-ca91-4f56-b243-d0fd8b3f6ceb>. Enjoy!

*Prayer Requests…*
· Pr. Cliff Winter underwent hip surgery this week. Please keep him in your prayers for comfort and recovery.
· Amy Fox is suffering from various health concerns and multiple trips to the hospital.
· This past Monday, Hazadi, the 4-year-old son of Samson and Suzana, our neighbors at the NE corner of Erie and Gilbert, was killed in a hit-and-run accident. You can read more details about this tragedy here <ec2-52-26-194-35.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com/x/d?c=11705631&l=dca24d00-a66c-4a40-92f7-149b9929a9c1&r=6dbeaba4-ca91-4f56-b243-d0fd8b3f6ceb>. We’ll be taking a special offering at Trinity (another basket on the table) to help provide for this family in their sorrow. They’ve had lots of support the last few days. Please keep them in your prayers.

Many blessings and much joy to you all in Christ our life.
-Pastor
