This Sunday we enter the final stages of our Lenten journey. We now begin *Passiontide*, the last two weeks of Lent. The crosses are now veiled as the Gospel reading ends, “but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple” (Jn 8:59). We also drop the *Gloria Patri (“glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit*”), which will be most noticeable during the Introit and the *Nunc Dimittis*. Judica comes from the Introit, “*Vindicate/Judge me, O God*” (Ps 43:1). It’s a cry for the Lord’s justice to shine forth from the cross and deliver us from the snares of the devil. *Join us at 8am at Grace and 11am at Trinity*, as we seek our Lord’s justice in the gifts from the cross.

· For Derrel Presnell and family as they mourn the death of his father, Claude Presnell. His funeral was yesterday (3/18).
· For Katie, Marge Wortz’s niece, suffering from breast cancer.
· Amy Fox is suffering from various health concerns and multiple trips to the hospital.
· Continued prayers for our neighbors, Samson and Suzana, who mourn the death of their 4-year-old son, Hazadi. Thanks to your generosity at a special collection last Sunday, Nikki and I were able to deliver $850 along with a card (see below) to help with their various expenses during this time.
