  • Lutheran Witness Subscriptions The Lutheran Witness is the official magazine of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, serving as a key source of information for members of LCMS churches.  If you wish to receive the Kansas District insert, you must order the Lutheran Witness through Trinity or your own congregation.  The upcoming year will see a price increase for your subscription.  It will be $32 per subscription paid to Trinity.  If you are currently a subscriber and wish to discontinue your subscription, please cross off your name from the “Current LW Subscribers” list in the narthex.   If you would like to keep your subscription, please mark “yes” to that same list.  If you do not currently get the Lutheran Witness but would like to receive your own personal copy, please print your name and address on the list “New LW Subscriber.”  Please put $32 into the offering plate for “LW subscription” before August 26.  Copies of the Lutheran Witness may be checked out of the church library for free.

Making the Case Conference 2024  If you were unable to attend this year’s “Making the Case” Conference, you can watch an on-demand video stream or listen to an audio recording. It contains presentations by Riley Gaines, Mark and Mollie Hemingway, Aaron Renn, Bryan Wolfmueller, Chris Rosebrough, Hans Fiene, Jordan Cooper and David Petersen, three worship services and the hymn sing.   • Voters’ Meeting A special voters’ meeting will be July 28 immediately following the 9 a.m. Divine Service.  The purpose of this meeting is to nominate a pastor for Circuit Visitor for Circuit 11.

  • Donations needed! Several members of Trinity volunteer the first Tuesday of each month at the South Lord’s Diner on Hillside where volunteers serve a free meal to about 200 guests nightly.  With the help of a Thrivent grant, volunteers are planning to buy personal hygiene products to give to dining guests on August 6th.  School will begin the following week in Wichita and so donations of shampoo, toothpaste, deodorants, soaps and other items will help families as well as other guests who spend a lot of time outdoors in the heat.  Donations would be appreciated and can be left in the narthex this Sunday (July 28).
