Several members of Trinity volunteer the first Tuesday of each month at the South Lord’s Diner on Hillside where volunteers serve a free meal to about 200 guests nightly.  With the help of a Thrivent grant, volunteers are planning to buy personal hygiene products to give to dining guests on August 6th.  School will begin the following week in Wichita and so donations of shampoo, toothpaste, deodorants, soaps and other items will help families as well as other guests who spend a lot of time outdoors in the heat.  Donations would be appreciated and can be left in the narthex the next three Sundays (July 14, 21 and 28).
  • Free Magazines  Please take a look at all the magazines that are being given away on the stage in the Fellowship Hall.  Titles include Lutheran Witness, Good News, Gottesdienst, Concordia Theological Quarterly, and Smithsonian.  Feel free to take what interests you.  Magazines not taken will be shared with other congregations or recycled.
